AspinStand_SME11_1[1]Aspin are now back from the Service Management Expo 2011 at the NEC. This was Aspin’s first exhibition in partnership with Opticon (handhelds) and Brother (mobile printing).

At the show, we presented our MiniSell mobile sales software. Most relevant to this event was MiniSell’s new delivery and van sales module, which runs alongside its core sales order taking functionality.

Opticon were showcasing their new handheld device, the H-22, which is due for general release in December 2011. This will provide a 3.8” screen and integrated barcode scanner, at a very competitive price tag. Something for which there has been great demand for this from our MiniSell customer base, which has been extensively using the Opticon H-19 handheld for a number of years.
Brother were promoting their Pocket-Jet printer – a device ideally suited to the mobile worker, being extremely portable and also supporting thermal printing, omitting the need for print cartridges and minimising the number of moving parts.
Going forward, Aspin, Opticon and Brother are looking to further collaborate to promote our complimentary products, which together can deliver a robust, flexible and easy to use solution for the mobile workforce.

The show coincided with Glee 2011, and this gave the Aspin team the opportunity to spend time visiting our extensive customer base within the gardening and leisure sectors.
