Aspin confirm October workshop – Should I be attending?

Aspin is pleased to confirm that we will be holding our fourth workshop of the year, on October 10 2018, in Oxford. Since our first event last year, we’ve welcomed over 200 attendees across a diverse range of businesses to our workshops. For those of you unsure of whether you would benefit from such an event, we’ve put together a set of questions to help you out…

Who should attend this workshop?

The workshop is targeted at directors and managers of distribution businesses. The event is designed to encourage discussion between attendees on best practice and advice – and to share business ideas across multiple sectors. From our previous three sessions, we’ve seen industries ranging from watch and fishing tackle to cuddly toys and a design agency in attendance.

What does the workshop cover?

Discussion topics will focus on the ongoing management of your trade website, plus additional tips and tricks.

To bring the InterSell system to life, an Aspin demo website will be presented, with a full suite of modules and functionality. The idea of this is to showcase the capabilities and demonstrate its ease of use. As with our sessions before, the workshop will be divided up into four sections, with the following talks:

    • Maintaining your competitive advantage
    • InterSell existing functionality
    • InterSell new modules
    • Launching your website (some suggestions)

I already have a trade website with Aspin, is this event relevant to me?

Absolutely. Many of our attendees have been made up of InterSell users. Our workshops provide you with a great opportunity to catch up with your Aspin Account Managers, in a relaxed environment where you can put forward any queries. Something which has worked extremely well is the opportunity for businesses to share their own opinions — rather than just what Aspin has to offer.

I have a trade website with another provider, is this event relevant to me?

Yes. Across the three events so far, several people have attended and shared their experiences with an alternative provider. We would encourage you to come along with an open mind, so you can benefit from the advice and expertise of a different vendor.

I am not currently looking to invest in a trade website, why should I attend?

We understand that the decision to invest in a trade website can seem like a big transition — and an expensive one. However, our workshops are far from a sales pitch. It is our intention for you to leave the day with a better understanding as to whether or not you should be considering this option. As a result of our workshops, many businesses have come back to us to say that the event has opened their eyes to what is possible.
