Aspin raise funds for Zimbabwean orphanage with Lymington 10k
Back in April, Aspin’s Lizzi visited the Mother of Peace Community Orphanage in Zimbabwe, taking out resources and to spend time with the children on their Easter holidays. Needless to say, she had a fantastic, humbling, exhausting, breathtaking and wonderful time and was inspired to tie in our annual Lymington 10k run with a sponsorship opportunity to raise money for the orphanage.
Thank you to the kindness of all the staff at Aspin, friends and family – we have so raised £768.75 including Gift Aid and Lizzi was happy to finish the race, shaving off 4:23 off last year’s time. Unfortunately, Nathan had to bow out due to injury but hopes to be on the tracks again soon. If you would like to track what we have sponsored so far or indeed donate to MOPC, Zimbabwe – here is the link: http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/LizziBenger
