Aspin’s East Midlands workshop a big hit

April 26, 2018 Aspin News, Workshop

“A great day, with lots to take away!” — Tuesday, April 24, 2018, and the Aspin team were on the road again for our second trade eCommerce workshop — this time with a trip to the Midlands.

Following the success of our first eCommerce workshop in March, a Midlands event was confirmed — giving Aspin customers further North the opportunity to attend with a shorter commute.

Targeted at directors, managers and marketeers who wished to develop their online strategy, the workshop welcomed over 20 Aspin customers to the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nottingham — with a number of suppliers and partners also attending.

A broad range of sectors including pet, garden, giftware and eyewear were in attendance, allowing for insightful discussions — and a wide variety of best practice hints and tips.

The workshop was divided into five talks, with each designed to share best eCommerce practice, alongside regular audience participation. Each topic focused on the management and success of your trade website, with the following sessions:

  • Maintaining your competitive advantage
  • InterSell existing functionality
  • InterSell new modules
  • Launching your website (some suggestions)

As with the previous trade eCommerce workshop, Head of InterSell Projects Julian Stone and Developer Harvey Dobson presented the Aspin demo site – with a full suite of modules and functionality. This was particularly valuable for those in the room who are yet to go live with the InterSell system.

Nathan Aspin, Managing Director, commented: “It was great to welcome such a diverse range of customers and Aspin partners to this event. Following our first eCommerce workshop last month, we wanted to give our customers further North the chance to attend. Although in a different location, the workshop was a great success and we saw really high levels of engagement throughout — and interest in InterSell.

With our next event planned for June, I would encourage all Aspin customers, and those interested in trade eCommerce to attend.”

Enesco Ltd: “Really enjoyed the workshop. It will allow us to refocus on current functionality and also look at the InterSell modules we should be using!”

I Grunwerg Ltd: “Very informative. I’m still learning the ropes on InterSell but this has really shown me what the system can do.”

LG Harris & Co. Ltd: “Very thorough and all the content was relevant. Thank you!”

Blue Sky Hosting Ltd: “Great location, amazing timings with interesting content. Lovely to see you all!”
