Managing your reps in the field
Here at Aspin, we have identified a need for Directors and Managers to have visibility into reps’ daily schedules and have created a module within PixSell which enables management to have just that.
The Activity module enables the sales reps to define activity types such as sales visits, prospect visits, merchandising and telephone calls, and then schedule and maintain sales activities within the PixSell iPad app against prospective and existing customer accounts (see screen shot). Additionally, head office can schedule appointments on behalf of the sales reps and import these into the iPad app.
The resulting data can then be viewed via the browser based PixSell reporting system at head office and downloaded into a spreadsheet for management and sales reporting.
Louella Belle distribute professional manicure, pedicure, beauty and spa products to salons, beauty therapists and nail technicians. The sales reps use the Activity module within PixSell:
Our reps went live with PixSell in June 2013 and have gone from strength to strength with the application – particularly now that they can report their different sales call types (prospect call, training etc…) back to us at head office. This means that our reps are managing accounts more effectively and able to allocate their time to tasks as needed. We have also removed all the sales reps’ car trackers in favour of PixSell because we have a better idea of what they are doing day-to-day. I would recommend PixSell to any company wishing to have a greater idea of sales reps’ movements and account management from head office.
