Google Launches Realtime Search
Google taps into social networking to provide up-to-date results and region specific content
Today google publically launches a new search facility called Realtime Search.
Google users can now see social network posts as they are being made. Users can search live and past conversations on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. Content can be filtered to be localised to either nearby or at a specific location. Conversations can be tracked back in time. Email alerts mean that it is now simple to stay appraised on new results as they happen or receive them on a particular frequency set by the user.
