Welcome to the 25th edition of Login newsletter, and first electronic version
Many of you may have noticed that Aspin’s Login newsletter has taken on an electronic format and landed in your email inbox, rather than on your desk. After much deliberation, we decided to do right by our environment and retire the paper based version for good. The birth of aspinblog.com at the beginning of 2014 created a hub for all our news, stories and marketing and we felt it was the perfect home for Login, too.
As summer 2014 approaches, we ready ourselves for the release of PixSell 2.0 to the App Store. Our fantastic team of iOS developers are hard at work preparing the release, which we are all very excited about. This is a significant release for Aspin, alongside the regular updates every four weeks, which will include both functional and cosmetic improvements to the app. There are plenty of updates to come, surrounding the new release so please, watch this space!
The eCommerce team are going great guns developing trade ordering sites for clients and with the summer theme in mind still, we are pleased to have launched a fantastic website for Palgrave, distributors of beach, garden and leisure products, earlier this year. With many more at the development stage, we are working hard to launch an InterSell site for Enesco containing 5000 products, across 94 brands. Enesco are a leading giftware distributor and this is an exciting venture for both parties. Aspin look forward to showcasing the site once it has gone live later this year.
From the Login news round up and blog you’ll see that Aspin have proudly become part of trade associations; BHETA and GIMA this year, and having presented at one of the BHETA Open Forums, we will be speaking at the GIMA day conference in November. For us, these memberships are really about strengthening our brand in industries where we have a strong client base and demonstrating our dedication to all of our software users. We will release further details on the GIMA event, and any other attendances later in the year.
Socially, we’ve been continuing with the fun runs, the curry nights and Go Karting – with more running (are we mad?) in the pipeline for September. Internally, we continue to renovate the Aspin offices, with upstairs complete and plans coming together for the downstairs area.
