8th Aspin workshop made brilliant by energetic attendees
As we finished yesterday with the snapping of cameras, strong handshakes, hugs and boxes of chocolates in the foyer it really brought home just how much our workshops are made brilliant due to the people that attend them.
Any events organiser will tell you, it’s unnerving to build the suspense of an event – in the hope that all the people that have signed up will actually show up and that your venue get your requirements right. We had to tweak the number of breakfast baps at 08:30 but all in a day’s work.
Thankfully, our eighth workshop had yet another good turnout – with plenty of customers and prospects exploring the reality of managing a trade website. The real high for us as hosts at least, is when the audience start using each other to bounce ideas off – which is generally the order of the afternoon after a hearty lunch. That is what a successful workshop looks like, to us.
There seemed to be a particular interest around launch strategy and how to proposition your customers and staff with the concept of a new trade ordering website. We focused on how to reassure your head office staff and sales reps that the website would enhance their roles within the business – and the uphill battle of converting customers to love your website over your customer services line!
- “Good to meet other companies and discuss similar business issues.”
- “I’ve flagged so many things to look at for when I get back to the office.”
- “I can’t wait to get stuck into our new InterSell website.”
That’s it for 2018 folks, but we’ll be back in the new year with a new range of workshops and topics. We’d like to thank you all for your support of these events over the last two years. See you in 2019.
