Aspin at the Housewares Innovation Awards 2017

February 7, 2017 Aspin Spring Fair

After a busy second day exhibiting at Spring Fair, we were able to spend time with some of our customers in the evening, as we attended the Housewares Innovation Awards.

The HIA celebrates the success of both retailers and suppliers in the housewares industry and it was wonderful to see that so many of our clients in the housewares sector were nominated for awards.

For the second year running Aspin hosted a table at the event and we were pleased to welcome Pete Nash, Heather Schofield (DKB), Tony Golby, Andy Green (George East), Warren Gell, David Smith, (Portmeirion) and Edward Margetts (Kuhn Rikon) for dinner and drinks.

Congratulations to Kitchencraft who won two awards for ‘Bakeware Innovation’ and ‘Packaging Innovation’. Kitchencraft have been using Aspin’s iPad ordering system PixSell for over 4 years.

Aspin sponsored the Service award, and this was given to cookware distributors Arthur Price by Aspin Managing Director, Nathan Aspin.

Nathan commented: “This was a thoroughly enjoyable event and I am very proud that Aspin were a part of it. The HIA always gives us the great opportunity to spend some downtime with our clients’, and it is refreshing to be able to catch up with them in a relaxing environment after a day at Spring Fair.”
