Aspin’s monthly client roundup – that was January 2016
Welcome to the first Aspin client round up! We’ll be delivering the best in client news each month via our blog – their constant achievements are too great not to shout about. The new year has bought about many a change for Aspin’s clients, and you can read all about them here. Enesco have appointed Todd Marvis as their new Managing Director, after previously being in charge of Katun Corporation and First Advantage Corporation, Todd is stepping up in the world of giftware – we wish him the best of luck in his new post. Sadly, Kitchencraft have said goodbye to their owner Andrew Plant after his 22 years in the company. He saw the company go from a £5 million to a £40 million turnover during his time there, with Gary Biggs (previously at Denby) assuming the position and looking to drive profit even higher. Leisuregrow are expanding with five new employees joining the ranks with Jacqui Sutcliffe, Lisa Brierley, and Catriona Exeter taking new positions as Territory Managers, and Colin Armitage and Lee Kennelly joining as Account Managers. The greeting card industry also sees UK Greetings welcome Jayne Myres as Commercial Director. Jayne leaves her position as Managing Director at Paper Rose to adopt the newly created position at UK Greetings. Best of luck, Jayne.
As well as lots of new staff for the new year, our clients are also bringing new product lines to 2016’s exhibitions – Gardman will be showcasing 250 new products at Spring Fair and Glee this year – we welcome them particularly at Spring Fair as this is their first year exhibiting at the show. Creative Tops and Horwood Homewares have some exciting new lines launching in 2016. We are very much looking forward to what 2016 has to bring for our customers, and we wish you the best of luck.
