Grunwerg and GEH move towards tablet-based order taking
Hampshire-based software company Aspin has attracted new business from two housewares suppliers: Grunwerg and GEH. Both firms have signed up for Aspin’s iPad app PixSell for their mobile sales teams. Doug Mendes of Aspin said: “Distributing products to independent cookshops, both saw the need for automating the order capture process, as well as a method of equipping their mobile sales teams with up to date customer and product information in a tool that is branded, looks professional and has a wealth of information at the users’ fingertips.”
Aspin aims to help distributors take orders more effectively, whether on-the-road, at trade shows or online. Its applications allow sales reps and agents to place and process orders wherever they are. Aspin products are used by sales teams across the UK and worldwide, with systems able to handle multi-currency and languages.
PixSell, from Aspin, is an app designed for iPads that displays product catalogues and allows reps to take orders out on the road. The app can be linked to most back office accounts packages. The aim is ‘to make orders flow seamlessly’. PixSell also gathers sales data and intelligence to enable sales teams and managers ‘to make every sales call count’.
