Ozdiller cash in and carry their sales forward with PixSell iPad ordering
We are pleased to publish a short case study written by Sage 200 reseller Pentyme Solutions…
Ozdiller Cash and Carry, the Tottenham based food and drinks wholesaler, has just taken delivery of an innovative new system PixSell, which will be used by their sales representatives.
PixSell has been designed to link most ERP systems to an iPad so that sales people can access product data and customer details without requiring internet access. The iPad application provides instant access to product catalogues and allows the user to create multiple sales orders which are passed directly back to the ERP system for processing.
The system therefore removes the need to order pads, cumbersome laptops, paper based catalogues and eliminates duplication of sales order entries which is time consuming and runs the risk of human error. The iPad is effectively an extension to your ERP system and can work on-line or off-line so that in areas where 3G/4G technology is not available or where the signal is weak, orders can still be taken and downloaded to the main system later.
Aspin and Pentyme Solutions have worked together on this installation – Aspin is an independent software vendor that deploys sales order processing applications to the wholesale and distribution sector. They have a global client base and span many direct industry sectors. The company was formed in 1984 and has offices in the UK and Australia.
Pentyme Solutions supplied Sage 200 and Sage POS to Ozdiller to manage their financial, sales and stock management processes and worked with Aspin to develop the links between PixSell and Sage 200.
